Why did we name this House "CASA FROTTOLA" ?
Frottola is a secular song of the late 15th and early 16th century. One of the most famous frottola composers was Andrea Antico da Montona. He was born in Motovun (Italian: Montona) around 1480 . While he was working in Venice and Rome, he composed few frottolas and included them in his collection named Canzone, strambotti, et frottole, libro tertio (1513) . Aside of frottolas, he composed an anthology dedicated to Pope Leo X .
